Hi! I am Maria, the owner/creator of Whip Queen Bakery ( Formerly: Sweet House). I am in the process of having a  booth at the European Village Market every Sunday.  My journey into baking gluten free has been a long and difficult one starting with my daughter’s diagnosis of celiac disease in 2010. Then 5 years later, I myself was diagnosed after going through years of symptoms that prompted me to seek answers from my doctor to only find out that I too have Celiac Disease. The only good thing about this disease is that we don’t need medication and that the only way it can be treated is through strictly eating gluten free. I’ve always loved baking and now it’s a passion of mine to bake up delicious treats for anyone that lives a gluten free lifestyle. All of my baking is done in my 100% gluten free home kitchen . I use only farm fresh pasture raised eggs. Whenever possible I use organic ingredients and also use less sugar to keep from creating an overly sweet treat.
